Dr. Mary Amanda Dew is a Professor of Psychiatry, Psychology, Epidemiology, and Biostatistics at the University of Pittsburgh and also a Professor at the Clinical and Translational Science Institute. She is the Director of the Clinical Epidemiology Program, Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic, and the Director of the Quality of Life Research, Artificial Heart Program, Adult Cardiothoracic Transplantation, at UPMC.
Dr. Dew earned a BA and MA in Psychology from The Johns Hopkins University in 1979, an MA in Social Psychology from Harvard University in 1983, and her Ph.D. in Psychology/Quantitative Methods from Harvard University in 1984. Dr. Dew completed her post-doctoral training in Psychiatric Epidemiology at the University of Pittsburgh Schools of Medicine and Public Health in 1987.
