Dr. Hughes is the Osteopathic Program Director for Emergency Medicine and the Chairperson for the MSU Osteopathic Internal Medicine department. Dr. Hughes is also a founding member of the Research Consultation service for the Emergency Medicine Residency Program and an active instructor for medical students.
