Marvin L. Woodall, a long-standing member of the Board of Directors of the Cardiovascular Research Foundation (CRF), was named the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the organization effective immediately. The position of CEO is newly created in an effort to both manage the tremendous growth experienced by CRF over the past several years as well as to lead the Foundation in new endeavors in the future.
"For nearly two decades, Marv Woodall has been a highly respected leader in the interventional vascular medicine community," said CRF Chairman Martin B. Leon, MD, who made the announcement. "I have no doubt that he is the right person to provide the strong leadership necessary to take CRF into the future."
