Martina Lengerova PhD, MSc

Martina Lengerova is a University Hospital Brno graduated in Molecular Biology and Genetics at the Faculty of Science of Masaryk University. She prepared her diploma and dissertation thesis and gained her first valuable experience with scientific work in the Laboratory of Plant Developmental Genetics of the Institute of Biophysics of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic under the guidance of Professor Boris Vyskot.

She has been diagnosing opportunistic infections and studying things related to them since 2003. In 2007, she completed a specialization examination in the field of Examination Methods in Medical Genetics - Molecular Genetics. In 2016, she completed her specialized education in the field of Microbiology. The scope of her work is mainly to lead a working section and supervise routine examinations, introduce new diagnostic methods in accordance with current scientific knowledge and process the obtained results for publication purposes. She is a supervisor of undergraduate and postgraduate students at Masaryk University.
