Martina Garau MSc

Martina’s current research includes methods and applications of Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) approaches in healthcare decision making; economic issues posed by the development and provision of treatments for rare diseases; value-based assessments and HTA systems in high and middle-income countries. This expertise informs projects undertaken for global pharmaceutical and life sciences companies, non-profit research organizations, charities and trade associations. Martina joined the Office of Health Economics in 2004, following a placement at NICE in London. She has an MSc in Economics from the University of York and a first degree in economics from the University of Cagliari in Italy.
