Martin Tauschmann MD, PhD

Martin a trainee paediatric diabetologist currently working at the Medical University of Vienna, Department of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine. His primary focus to date has been on diabetes technology research. He is especially interested in artificial pancreas or closed-loop insulin delivery systems. After completing med school and starting his specialty training in paediatrics in Graz, Austria, he spent 4 years as a clinical research associate in Prof Hovorka’s Artificial Pancreas group at the University of Cambridge, UK, where he also completed my PhD about closed-loop applications in paediatric populations.
