Dr. Martin Levine serves as Associate Dean for Educational Development and Professor of Family and Community Medicine. He teaches in the first and second year curriculum in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine in the OMM lab and lectures. He is the third year OMM course director.

Dr. Levine received his DO and MPH degrees from the AT Still University of Health Sciences/Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He also completed the AOA Health Policy Fellowship through the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine and the Family Practice Faculty Development Fellowship from the Office of Medical Education Research and Development at Michigan State University.

Dr. Levine has received two honorary degrees; Honorary Doctor of Science in Osteopathy, AT Still University of Health Sciences/Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in May 2012 and Honorary Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and Humanities, Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in June 2013.

Dr. Levine started a family medicine and an internal medicine residency at two different hospitals in Jersey City as DME and served as the family medicine residency director. He continues to maintain a clinical practice in family medicine in offices in Bayonne and Jersey City, NJ where he served as team physician at every level of sport from local, college, pro, and Olympic. He has volunteered as elite athlete recovery area physician for the Boston Marathon for the past 16 years and worked in a similar capacity at the New York Marathon.

Dr. Levine has been elected to and served on local, state and national member organizations including President of the American Osteopathic Association. He was cited in New York magazine’s Best Doctors for 15 straight years. He lectures for CME and motivational programs regularly. He has been interviewed on local and national television as an expert in osteopathic medicine, sports medicine and health policy.
