C. Martin Harris is the associate vice president of the Health Enterprise and chief business officer at Dell Medical School and the interim vice president for medical affairs at The University of Texas at Austin. He previously served as a practicing physician in the Department of Internal Medicine and chief information officer at Cleveland Clinic, where he oversaw the strategic development of the organization’s integrated information technology infrastructure including the electronic health record system (EHR).
Harris received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and completed his residency training in general internal medicine at The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He completed a Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholar Fellowship in General Internal Medicine at The University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and holds a Master in Business Administration in Healthcare Management from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
