Dr. Martin Gignac obtained his diploma of medicine at McGill University in 1998 and finished his residency in psychiatry at the University of Montreal in 2003. He then completed a fellowship in pediatric psychopharmacology at the Massachusetts General Hospital, affiliated with Harvard University.
Since his return from Boston, he has been appointed as an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Montreal. He is the chief of staff at Ste-Justine University Center Hospital and a child and adolescnt at the Adolescent Services at the Philippe-Pinel Institute of Montreal. He is in charge of the outpatient clinic treating adolescents with severe dysruptive behaviors.
Dr. Gignac carried out several research projects and published articles and chapters of books in the field of paediatric psychopharmacology. Lastly, he presented and participated in various scientific national and international conferences.
