Martin A. Martino, M.D. is a Gynecologic Oncologists in practice at the Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) since 2005. He is also a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Southern Florida and a member of the Departments of OBGYN and Surgery at LVHN. He completed medical school at Hahnemann Medical College in 1998. He went on to complete his residency at Rutgers: Robert Wood Johnson School of Medicine in New Brunswick, NJ in 2002, as well as a Galloway Fellowship at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in 2000. He completed his Gynecologic Oncology fellowship at the University of South Florida: H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and currently serves as the Medical Director for the Minimally Invasive Robotics Program at LVHN.

His passion is in caring for his patients and bringing them the most advanced innovative tools to help them get well. In 2008, he started the LVHN Robotic Surgery Program, which has grown into one of the most recognized surgical teams in the country. Dr. Martino has completed nearly 1500 robotic procedures and has performed the Lehigh Valley’s first Single Site Hysterectomy and Near Infrared Image Guided Surgery in the Lehigh Valley. He is a founding member of the Institute for Surgical Excellence as well as the Robotic Training Network. He developed the first app in the iphone store called “Robotic Surgery”, which was created to standardize education and training for future physicians.
