Marta Pacia PhD

Marta Z. Pacia is currently working as an Assistant Professor at the Jagiellonian University. Marta obtained a master's degree in 2012 (Jagiellonian University), an engineer in 2013 (AGH), and in 2017 she obtained a Ph.D. in chemistry with honors on the basis of the thesis: "Multiparameter imaging of chemical changes in mouse models of civilization diseases" (Faculty of Chemistry, Jagiellonian University). Currently, he is implementing the SONATINA1 project (National Science Center). Marta's latest research focuses on in situ measurements of endothelial cells in isolated functional blood vessels, and changes in them under the influence of pro-inflammatory factors. As part of the project, Marta uses the Raman spectroscopy technique (both high-resolution Raman imaging and measurements using a fiber optic probe).
