Marsha is a board-certified radiation oncologist whose clinical practice is focused on the personalized treatment of cancer with radiation therapy. Her goal is to select and implement an appropriate radiation therapy technique to effectively treat disease while minimizing the risk of treatment-related side effects for each patient. She work closely with her colleagues in surgery, pathology, radiology, and medical oncology to develop a comprehensive and individualized treatment plan for each patient.
Some of the treatment modalities offered include multi-beam intensity-modulated radiation therapy and image-guided radiation therapy. Her academic research focuses on translational epigenetic and genomic approaches to improving and individualizing radiation therapy treatment options in the clinical setting.
