Dr. Pavlou is a Senior Lecturer in Physiotherapy at King's College London and has received over £ 1 million in competitive research funding to develop new assessments and interventions for people with balance disorders. Dr. Pavlou's research focuses on the development of low-cost assessment and rehabilitation tools for persons with balance disorders. Assessment tools she has developed include the Visually induced Dizziness Pediatric Questionnaire and a dual-task functional gait assessment for persons with balance disorders (manuscript in preparation). Dr. Pavlou has also developed and implemented numerous clinical trials, with a particular emphasis on novel interventions which have led to clinically available resources such as the optokinetic DVD for the treatment of visual dependence in person with balance disorders.
