Markus F. Oertel

Dr. Markus F. Oertel is a specialist in neurosurgery and has the additional title Special neurosurgical intensive care. He is a member of various national and international neurosurgical societies such as the Congress of Neurological Surgeons and has worked as a consultant for numerous prestigious medical journals, including the Journal of Neurology, Neurosurgery and Psychiatry and Neurosurgery. For the implementation of its various research projects Dr. Markus Oertel received appropriate third-party funds and scientific prizes. Many of these projects were developed in cooperation with renowned institutions such as the Departments of Neurosurgery at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and the Heinrich-Heine University in Dusseldorf, the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology and Helmholtz Institute of Biomechanical Engineering of RWTH Aachen University, the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne and the Forschungszentrum Jülich. Dr. Markus Oertel is the author of numerous scientific publications and congress contributions.
