Markos G. Kashiouris, MD MPH is a Critical Care Physician at the Inova Fairfax Hospital. He graduated from the University of Athens, Greece, in 2005 (MD) and joined Imperial College London as an honorary research officer. Dr. Kashiouris trained in Internal Medicine at a Johns Hopkins University-affiliated hospital for three years, and as a Chief Resident for one additional year, while part-time working on a Master of Public Health (MPH) by the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and became board-certified in Internal Medicine. Subsequently, he joined the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, as a Critical Care Medicine fellow in 2011 and a chief fellow in 2012-2013 and became board certified in Critical Care Medicine. He also has a second fellowship in Cardiovascular Critical Care, from Johns Hopkins Hospital.
