Mark Stathos PhD

Mark Stathos, PhD, is a product applications scientist working in the cell culture lab at InVitria. His research focuses on showcasing the benefits of InVitria’s animal-free recombinant protein offerings in cell therapy and drug formulation applications. Mark has co-authored several application notes with InVitria on a diverse range of topics, including cell expansion, drug conjugation, downstream cell wash, and cryopreservation. Before joining InVitria, he worked at Artisan Biotechnologies, a preclinical CAR T company with a focus on generating allogeneic CAR T therapies using a novel Cas nuclease. Mark received his PhD in bioengineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2021.
