Mark S. Rosenberg DO, MBA, FACEP, FAAHPM

Dr. Rosenberg is the Emeritus Chairman of Emergency Medicine and the Chief Innovation Officer at St Joseph's Health in Paterson, New Jersey. The emergency department is one of the nation’s busiest seeing more than 170,000 adult and child visits annually. He is board-certified in Emergency Medicine as well as in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.

Dr. Rosenberg has created many new and successful innovations including a Geriatric ED program, an Emergency Department Palliative Care program, a Fellowship in Acute Pain Management, and a multidisciplinary Alternatives to Opioids program. He is the principal author of ACEP’s Geriatric Emergency Department Guidelines and the Geriatric Emergency Department Accreditation Program. Dr. Rosenberg has been on the ACEP Board of Directors since 2015 and was elected as the ACEP President in 2020.
