Mr. Mark Dupuis currently serves as the Chief of Security and Emergency Preparedness for Ochsner Health System. Mr. Dupuis retired from the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office in 2013. His 30+ year career with JPSO included leadership positions in a wide array of investigative and field assignments. Of note, Mr. Dupuis served as the Deputy Incident Commander of the law enforcement response for Hurricane Katrina. He also served as a Commanding Officer of both the First and Second Patrol Districts of the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Mr. Dupuis has his own private civil law practice. He is a member of the Federal Bar Association, The Louisiana Bar Association and the Jefferson Bar Association. Mr. Dupuis holds both a Bachelor of Criminal Justice Degree and a Juris Doctor from Loyola University, New Orleans.
