Dr. Mark S. Cohen is dually boarded in anesthesiology and interventional pain management. He completed his anesthesia residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and his fellowship in interventional pain management at the prestigious Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan. He has been published in multiple respected journals in his field and has presented at national conferences.
Cohen is actively involved with his community and helps educate about safe prescribing practices, partnering with the state of Florida. Dr. Cohen's main focus is on preventing patients from needing surgery and restoring function. While injections are commonplace and helpful for pain issues in virtually any part of the body, he also specializes in minimally invasive procedures that can offer long-lasting benefits and restore function, such as spinal cord stimulation, peripheral stimulation, MILD, Minuteman, Intracept, Radiofrequency, Kyphoplasty, and Sacroiliac stabilization.
