Mr Mark Rickman qualified from Sheffield University in 1994, and trained in Orthopaedics in Oxford. He obtained an MD in limb reconstruction in 2003, has undertaken a 12 month fellowship in Arthroplasty surgery in Australia, and a pelvic / acetabular trauma fellowship for 6 months in Bristol.
Mr Rickman's current NHS commitments consist of orthopaedic and fracture clinics at St George's Hospital, arthroplasty lists at the new South West London Elective Orthopaedic Centre, and trauma / pelvic trauma lists at St George's Hospital. He specialises in all aspects of lower limb surgery, with an emphasis on minimal incision arthroplasty surgery, unicompartmental knee replacements and patello-femoral replacements. He is also a specialist in complex trauma, and pelvic / acetabular trauma surgery.
