Dr. Litzow is a professor of medicine and the head of the Acute Leukemia Group at Mayo Clinic's campus in Rochester, Minnesota. He served as the director of the Blood and Marrow Transplant (BMT) Program at Mayo Clinic for 17 years, and remains an active member of the BMT Program. Dr. Litzow chairs the Leukemia Committee of ECOG-ACRIN and has been involved in the development of large phase II and phase III clinical trials for over 20 years. He has also been a longstanding and active member of the Acute Leukemia Committee for the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research.
