Mark Portou PhD, FRCS

Dr. Mark Portou is a consultant Vascular surgeon at the Royal Free Hospital, London, with a clinical and research interest in diabetic foot disease and wound healing. Dr. Portou specialises in the endovascular treatment of crural vessel disease and the management of complex foot wounds. Dr. Portou completed vascular training in the North-east Thames region of London and undertook a PhD project which examined the role of the innate immune-mediated diabetic foot disease. Dr. Portou was awarded the ESVS clinical prize for this work and has presented Mark Portou the work internationally.
