Mark H. Mirabelli MD, FAAFP 

Dr. Mirabelli is a board-certified and fellowship-trained primary care sports medicine physician. Though he has a particular expertise in sports medicine and minor office procedures, he maintains a small primary care practice at Highland Family Medicine in addition to managing the entire spectrum of musculoskeletal problems in his practice at University Orthopaedics. Dr. Mirabelli serves as team physician for St. John Fisher College, the Rochester Knighthawks, the Rochester Rattlers and SUNY Geneseo and serves as a ringside physician for the New York State Athletic Commission.

Dr. Mirabelli completed the Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation where he was a team physician for several professional teams – the Cleveland Browns, Cavaliers, and Indians – as well as Cleveland State University, John Carroll University, and several high schools. Previous to that, he completed his Family Medicine Residency at the University of Michigan, where he served as Chief Resident, and graduated from Cornell University and New York Medical College. He lectures regularly in the region and nationally on sports medicine topics and has authored several journal articles and textbook chapters focusing on men's health, sports medicine, and office-based musculoskeletal procedures.
