Mark La Meir MD, PhD

Dr. Mark La Meir, MD, Ph.D., is professor and Head of the Department of Cardiac Surgery at the University Hospital Brussels and consultant at the Maastricht University Medical Center. He earned his medical degree at the Free University Brussels in 1992 and his surgical degree in 1998. He received his Ph.D. on “Hybrid Treatment of Atrial Fibrillation” at the Maastricht University Medical Center in 2012. He has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery and the treatment of arrhythmias.
