ark Haas, M.D., Ph.D., is an attending renal pathologist at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA, and Professor of Pathology, Cedars-Sinai Professorial Series. He received his M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from Duke University and did his residency in anatomic pathology and fellowship training in renal pathology and physiology at Yale University. Prior to coming to Cedars-Sinai in 2009, Dr. Haas served on the faculties of the Departments of Pathology of The University of Chicago and Johns Hopkins University. He is a past president of the Renal Pathology Society and currently serves on the editorial board of Kidney International and as glomerular disease section co-editor for Clinical Nephrology. He was a member of the Program Committee for 2009, 2011, and 2013 Banff Conferences on Allograft Pathology. His main areas of interest are glomerular diseases (particularly IgA nephropathy) and renal transplant pathology (particularly the effects of antibodies on the renal allograft).
