Mark Griffiths MSc, BA

Dr Mark Griffiths began his clinical career in 1998, working with older people struggling in living with the effects of stroke, dementia or wider health or mental health problems. The majority of his clinical career since this time has been within the NHS.

Following doctoral completion in 2002 at Liverpool University, Dr Griffiths returned to working in Older People’s services, then moving into pain management, whereupon he led the development of one of the first community pain management teams nationally. Then moving into clinical leadership roles within Brain Injury Rehabilitation services and subsequently coming to Aintree University Hospital in 2013 to lead the Department of Clinical Health Psychology (delivering specialist clinical psychology services across multiple medical areas within the Trust)
