Mark Dominik Alscher MD, FASN

Prof. Dr. med. Mark Dominik Alscher is a specialist in Internal Medicine, Nephrology and Hypertension. After a wide-ranging clinical training in all major internal medicine subjects and activities at Harvard Medical School (Boston, USA) and at the Health Science Center of the University of Colorado (Denver, USA), he returned to Germany, where he in 2007 at Stuttgart Robert -Bosch Hospital (RBK) took over the management of the emergency center kommissarische. Since May 2008 Professor Alscher is chief physician at the Department of General Internal Medicine and Nephrology at the RBK. At the same time, he has been Medical Director Member of the Hospital Board since of 2009.

Professor Alscher is a member of numerous national and international professional societies and since 2008 "Fellow of the American Society of Nephrology" (FASN).
