Mark Wyers is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School. He is the Associate Program Director of the newly-approved Integrated 0-5 Vascular Surgery Residency that will start in 2014. He also serves as the Director of Endovascular Surgery in the Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. A native of St. Louis, he received his BS at Georgetown University and his MD from Emory University School of Medicine where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha.

Starting as an intern the New England Deaconess Hospital, he finished his general surgery training at Beth Israel Deaconess. During that time, he spent two years as a Harvard-Longwood research fellow in vascular surgery. He completed a vascular surgery fellowship at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and stayed on staff at Dartmouth as an Assistant Professor for 5 additional years.
