Marita Zimmermann MPH, PhD

Marita R. Zimmermann, PhD, is a health economist, epidemiologist, and global health researcher, and she is passionate about using high-quality research methods to increase value in health. She believes that health care is a human right, and she does not have unlimited resources for health care. Her goal is to use econometric, epidemiologic, and modeling methods to figure out how to get the most bang for our health care buck. She aims to work on projects that have current usability or policy relevance and can influence real change in healthcare for patients in real time.
