Marissa D. Abram PhD, RN, PMHNP-BC, CASAC

Dr. Abram is an Assistant Professor at Adelphi University in the College of Nursing and Public Health. Sheis a Ph.D. prepared Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner currently practicing in Emergency Psychiatry and Substance Use Disorders. Dr. Abram serves on the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services Nurses Advisory Panel. She has a passion for Patient Safety and is on the board Pulse Center for Patient Safety whose primary focus to raise awareness about patient safety through advocacy, education, and support. Dr. Abram received Modern Healthcare’s 2017 Excellence in Nursing: Rising Star award.
