Marish Oerlemans MD, PhD

Dr. Marish I. F. J. Oerlemans, MD, PhD, is a Medical Director at UMC Utrecht. dr. Oerlemans studied medicine at Utrecht University. After completing his studies in 2008, he obtained his PhD at the University of Utrecht with his research into early detection and drug treatment of myocardial infarction in 2012. Following his PhD, Dr. Oerlemans completed training as a cardiologist at the Diakonessenhuis Utrecht, Meander Medical Center in Amersfoort, and the UMC Utrecht. Since April 2018, Dr. Oerlemans has been working as a cardiologist at the University Medical Center Utrecht. His research interests include Cardiology, Heart Failure, Heart Transplant, Inflammatory Diseases, Cardiovascular Diseases, Internal Medicine, and Medical Ethics.
