Mario De Meireles MD

Mario De Meireles, MD is a Geriatric Care Specialist at Henry Ford Health. He is a graduate of the Goa Medical College in Goa, India. He completed his internal medicine residency at the State University of New York Health Science Center; clinical and research fellowships in geriatric medicine at the University of Michigan; and received a master's degree in Health Services Administration and Policy from the University of Michigan School Public Health.

Dr. De Meireles is certified by both the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Geriatric Medicine. He is a member of the American Geriatric Society, the Michigan State Medical Society, and the American Medical Association.

Dr. De Meireles was recognized as one of the area's most respected geriatric specialists in Hour Detroit magazine's listing of "Top Docs" for 2005 and 2008. In 2006, he was a recipient of an American Medical Association Foundation Leadership Award.
