Mario Carminati MD, FESC, FGISE, FSCAI

Mario Carminati is the director of Pediatric and Adult Congenital Cardiology Centre at IRCCS Policlinico San Donato University Hospital (Milan, Italy) since 2000. He has been chairman and/or moderator in more than 800 congresses and curses while, at the same time, he strongly contributed to the scientific community being author and co-author of more than 250 peer-reviewed papers. He is particularly involved in the field of non-surgical treatment of various congenital heart disease, both in children and adults, like ASD and VSD closure, stent implantation, percutaneous pulmonary valve replacement and aortic coarctation treatment.
