Marina Trilesskaya MD

Dr. Trilesskaya is the system-wide chief of Cardiology at Alameda Health System. She received a bachelor’s degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from UC Berkeley and a medical degree from UC Davis. She completed her Internal Medicine residency and fellowship in Cardiovascular disease at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. She then completed an Interventional Cardiology fellowship at Banner University Medical Center in Arizona and joined Alameda Health System in 2013.

At AHS, in her former role as medical director of Cardiac Cathlab from 2016 to 2020, she led the effort to start an elective PCI program (EPCI), resulting in the award of the EPCI status by the California Department of Public Health. She established a rigorous Cardiac Cathlab Quality Review program and contributed to the institution of a transfer program for emergent cardiac cases from Alameda and San Leandro hospitals. She is the physician lead for PRIME/QIP Cardiology metrics. She is committed to AHS's mission of caring, healing, teaching, and serving all.
