Marina Backhaus MD

Marina Backhaus is a Rheumatologist with 33+ years of experience. She has been a reputed member of the DGRh (German Society for Rheumatology), RRZB (Regional Rheumatism Center Berlin), German Rheumatism League, and German Society for Ultrasound in Medicine (DGUM), EULAR Ultrasound Group, and OMERACT Ultrasound Task Force. She completed her Medical studies at Humboldt University, Berlin in 1987 and pursued Habilitation for the subject of Internal Medicine from Charité, Berlin in 2003. Dr. Backhaus has 107 publications in various national and international medical journals. She has a special interest in treating Rheumatoid Arthritis, Ankylosing Spondylitis, Gout, Vasculitis, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, Sjogren syndrome, myositis, osteoporosis, and various Rheumatologic & Autoimmune disorders.
