Marilou Ciantar BChd (Hons) Malta, MSc Lond, PhD Lond, MFDS RCS Eng, MFD RCS Irel, FFD RCS

Marilou undertook postgraduate training in Periodontology at the Eastman Dental Institute (EDI) in London and subsequently read for a PhD degree also at EDI. During this period she was part-time lecturer in Periodontology. Marilou was registered as a specialist Periodontist in 2000 and Oral Surgeon in 2007. Marilou has worked as a lecturer in oral surgery at the University of Dundee and is currently a part-time Senior Clinical Teaching Fellow in Oral Surgery at Aberdeen University Dental School.

Marilou is a member of the British Society of Periodontology, British Dental Association, International Team for Implantology (ITI), European Association of Osseointegration and Association of Dental Implantology.
