Marilla Morrey BSc

Marilla has worked part-time at Proactive Physiotherapy for more than 10 years. She started as a general musculoskeletal physiotherapist but in more recent years she has moved more towards women’s health with a special interest in physiotherapy for the rehabilitation of pelvic floor muscles for both men and women. In 2013, after much shuffling around of her family obligations, she completed her post graduate certificate in this area.

Marilla is part of a small team of physiotherapists at Proactive aiming to provide evidence based practice for the variety of dysfunctions associated with bladder, bowel and pelvic floor muscles. With her family nearly grown, Marilla thinks she may work more rather than less into the future keeping a work life balance in mind. Being fit and healthy as she ages is a bit of a hobby of hers.
