Dr. Marilina Santero, MSc, MD, PhD is a PhD Researcher at the Research Institute - Hospital de la Santa Creu and Sant Pau. Marilina Santero is a medical specialist in Epidemiology from the National University of Rosario (UNR) and a Master's in Clinical Effectiveness from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). She is currently studying the Scientific and Technological Dissemination Program of the Leloir Institute Foundation.
She is a researcher at the IECS Department of Chronic Disease Research and at the Center of Excellence in Cardiovascular Health for South America (CESCAS). She is also Head of Practical Work at the Department of Public Health at the University of Buenos Aires.
It conducts its research through primary research studies and secondary database analyses. His areas of interest are Global Health, Cancer Epidemiology, and Methodologies for prioritizing Research in Chronic Diseases.
He trained in Global Cancer Epidemiology at the Harvard University School of Public Health. She worked as an intern in the Epidemiology area of the Public Health Secretariat of the Municipality of Rosario, developing her activities in the Rosario Department Cancer Registry (READER). She was a CESCAS fellow from 2015 to 2018, and from the National Cancer Institute (INC) of the National Ministry of Health for two projects in 2012 and 2013.
