Dr. Marijean Buhse, PhD, ANP, RN, MSCN, FAAN, is a Clinical Professor and Director of the Doctoral Program in Nursing at Stony Brook University School of Nursing, Stony Brook, NY. She is also a Nurse Practitioner at NYU South Shore Neurologic working with persons with Multiple Sclerosis for over 25 years. Dr. Buhse is the past president of the Multiple Sclerosis Nurses International Certification Board and the treasurer for the International Organization of MS Nurses. Her research has focused on closing existing gaps in knowledge related to the care of older adults with multiple sclerosis.
