Marielle A. E. Nobbenhuis MD, PhD

Ms. Marielle A.E. Nobbenhuis is a gynaecological oncology surgeon. She qualified in medicine from the University of Leiden in the Netherlands and continued to train in gynecology and obstetrics at the Erasmus Medical Centre in Rotterdam. She completed the RCOG-recognised sub-specialty Gynaecological Oncology fellowship at The Royal Marsden in 2009.

Ms. Nobbenhuis obtained a Ph.D. (cum laude) grade in research involving the natural history of pre-malignant cervical lesions and infection with human papillomavirus resulting in several peer-reviewed publications and presentations in this field. Her main topics of interest are robotic gynecological surgery and ovarian cancer. She is a trainer in robotic surgery and is involved in national and international robotic societies. She is currently the president of the British and Irish Association of Robotic Surgeons.
