Marieke J. H. A. Kruip MD, PhD

Dr. Marieke Kruip followed her medical studies at the university in Maastricht. She started her medical career at the Sint Elisabeth Hospital in Tilburg, where she was also trained as an internist. Then she came to Erasmus MC for the training to become a hematologist. The first year she worked at the Daniel den Hoed location. She completed the training at the center location. After the training, she became a member of the Hematology staff. Hematology is a broad field. Already during her training, she started to specialize in blood clotting disorders, both bleeding diseases and thromboses, and the treatment thereof.
