Marianne Suuronen

Marianne Suuronen is a Consultant in dental and maxillofacial radiology based at Helsinki University Hospital, Finland. She has extensive involvement in postgraduate teaching and research in the field of dental and maxillofacial radiology, with a particular focus on patient safety in this area. Her research includes analyzing patient safety incidents in dentomaxillofacial radiology (DMFR), investigating their causes, and identifying ways to prevent future adverse events.

She has authored or co-authored several publications on patient safety in DMFR, including a paper titled "Radiation safety of dentomaxillofacial radiology in Finland: Reported abnormal irradiation-related incidents during 2012-2022".
