Dr. Marianne Camille Aznar is a Senior Lecturer in the Radiotherapy-Related Research Group directed by professor Marcel van Herk at the University of Manchester and at the Christie NHS Foundation Trust. She is also an Associate Professor at the Nuffield department of population health at the University of Oxford, She completed her MSc at McGill University and her PhD at the University of Copenhagen. She specialized in Radiology, Medical Physics. Her research focuses on the late effects of cancer treatment, especially for patient groups who can expect a long life after their original cancer treatments (diagnoses include, e.g., Hodgkin Lymphoma, breast cancer, and childhood cancer).  She is actively involved in the European Society of Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO), as a teacher and a member of the Physics Committee.
