Mariana Matera Veras Scientific Researcher for the State of São Paulo (PqC VI) and Chief are responsible for LIM05 -Laboratory of Environmental and Experimental Pathology - Hospital das Clínicas of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo. Bachelor and Licentiate in Biology (UBC, 2002), Master in Comparative Anatomy (FMVZ USP, 2004), and Ph.D. in Pathophysiology (FM USP, 2008). Areas of research interest: environmental and experimental pathology, the toxicity of environmental contaminants (microplastics, sargassum), biomonitoring, air pollution, human health, public health, and environmental policies. Didactic experience in general pathology, anatomy, histology, developmental biology, air pollution, and human health.
