Marian Gindy PhD

Marian Gindy is Executive Director, Discovery Pharmaceutical Sciences at Merck and Co, Inc, leading a group responsible for drug product design and early development support across disease areas and drug modalities. Previously, Dr Gindy served as Director and Head of Sterile Product Development at Merck with responsibility for design and definition of formulation and manufacturing processes for Merck’s small molecule and peptide parenteral products, from preclinical stages to Phase 3 clinical development. Marian also served as Strategy Lead for Merck’s implant product portfolio, leading conception of new products, particularly in Infectious Diseases, and managing teams responsible for product design, preclinical feasibility and clinical translation.
