Maria E. Toth, MS, CCC-SLP, an active and certified member of the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) and various Special Interest Divisions, continues to expand her professional horizons. Recently, she became a member of the Boca Chamber, demonstrating her commitment to the local community and professional network. In addition, she plays a significant role in shaping future professionals as an adjunct supervisor in Florida Atlantic University’s Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders.
Her educational journey began at the University of Florida, where she graduated cum laude with a specialization in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. Following this, she earned a Master of Science in the field, subsequently applying her expertise at St. Mary’s Medical Center Outpatient Facility. Dedicated to enabling individuals to reach their full potential, Maria has honed her skills in Speech Therapy services.
Her expertise spans a diverse range of areas, including feeding/swallowing, myofunctional disorders, receptive and expressive language, developmental delay, pragmatic (social communication), tongue thrust, phonological skills, and motor speech. This combination of clinical experience, educational background, and professional certifications positions her as a highly qualified provider of comprehensive evaluations and tailored care plans for clients of all ages.
With Toth Speech Services, LLC, Maria envisioned a team of professionals working collaboratively to help individuals thrive in their natural environments. Her experience has shown that therapy is most effective when it is functionally integrated into the individual’s comfortable spaces, such as home, school, or community settings. As an Autism Spectrum Disorder specialist certified in PROMPT therapy and traditional techniques, Maria is dedicated to ensuring personalized care for every individual, guiding them toward achieving their utmost potential.
