Maria Sole Chimenti MD, PhD

Dr Chimenti has accumulated clinical experience in Internal Medicine, Immunology and Rheumatology. The beginning of her clinical research career was focused on the study of the pathogenesis of autoimmune disease as SLE and APS. Subsequently, when she joined the “département d’Immunologie” de l’institut Cochin in Paris and the Rheumatology Department at the "Hopital Ambroise-Paré", Boulogne, Paris, she focused her clinical research activity on the pathogenesis of Spondyloarthrtis. During her post-Doctoral fellowship, she experiences laboratory technique as RT-PCR, immunohistochemistry, western and immunoblotting, cellular cultures, flowcytometry, ELISA, experiments on animal models and direct/indirect immunofluorescence. During the last ten years, she participated at the evaluation of the safety and efficacy of treatments for psoriatic arthritis.
