Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Zaragoza (Spain). She did her Doctoral Thesis on her at the Complutense University of Madrid (Spain). Currently, Dr. Escribano is a clinical cardiologist in the Pulmonary Hypertension Unit of Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre (Madrid, Spain).

Since the beginning of his professional career, he has participated in clinical and epidemiological research projects closely linked to his healthcare activity as a clinical cardiologist specializing in advanced heart failure, heart transplantation, pulmonary hypertension and congenital heart disease in adults.

His main line of research is the epidemiology of Pulmonary Hypertension and the usefulness of different diagnostic tools. She is also Coordinator of the Spanish Registry of Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (REHAP) ( www.rehap.org )

Teaching experience as a professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the Complutense University of Madrid, where she teaches classes in both the Bachelor's and doctoral courses. Director and professor in the postgraduate course at the Complutense University of Madrid: Master in Pulmonary Hypertension. Resident tutor in cardiology at the hospital where she works. She also has extensive experience in continuing education teaching for medical specialists, medical students, and nursing staff, as well as in postgraduate university teaching.

She is currently Coordinator of the Pulmonary Circulation Group of the Heart Failure Section of the Spanish Society of Cardiology ( SEC ) and Coordinator of the Pulmonary Hypertension Multidisciplinary Unit of the Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre in Madrid (National Reference Center in Spain for pulmonary hypertension).
