Maria Morales MSN, RN, CPAN

Maria Morales, MSN, RN, is Director, Clinical Education, at Relias. She is a quality-focused, results-driven nursing professional in the continuing education healthcare field. Prior to becoming a nurse educator, she had functioned as a PACU RN with educational and managerial duties. When transitioning from the acute care to healthcare education setting, she was chosen to be a part of the Gannett Healthcare Group team where she functioned as Associate Director of Educational Initiatives in planning, updating, editing, proofreading and modifying continuing educational materials.

Over the years, she was promoted to Executive Director, Healthcare Programs where she managed the content team of nursing, medicine, pharmacy, and allied health professions. She now works for Relias with similar responsibilities. Responsibilities include management of continuing educational activities, certification review courses, topic-specific review courses, live webinar events, and the overall actualization of new educational initiatives/projects from start to finish on a national level. Duties include developing and managing presenter/author relationships, maintaining current, interesting educational materials, and overseeing an expert clinical educator staff.
