Maria Irujo MD

Maria Navallas is a Pediatric radiologist at Sant Joan de Deu Barcelona children´s hospital and the Scientific Director of the Spanish Society of Radiology. Dr. Navallas did fellowships in pediatric imaging and pediatric cardiac imaging at the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Canada. She also did a scholarship in oncologic imaging at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and an observership in musculoskeletal imaging at Maimonides Medical Centre, both in NY, USA. She is a member of the Research Committee and of the Cardiothoracic taskforce of the ESPR. She has authored 40 journal articles, four book chapters, and delivered numerous presentations at both national and international conferences. She is also a reviewer for respected journals like "Pediatric Radiology” and a guest editor of the special issue of the journal Pediatric Radiology on the occasion of the ESPR 2024 meeting.
